A year in 4 days

Sunday is our first wedding anniversary! I don't tire of saying this, but time really does fly by! I still can't believe it's been (almost) a full year.

So anyway, we're celebrating our first anniversary with a trip. We thought we'd make it a tradition to visit a beach we haven't visited to mark every anniversary, since we went to Boracay after the wedding. 

Earlier this year, Reg started planning our anniv trip and was pretty good with keeping his mouth shut for the past five months. His plan was to never tell me where we were going, and just head for the airport. All I knew about the trip was :

1) It was a local destination
2) He had never been there. 

I tried everything to get the info out of him, but nothing worked! He was too good at it. Well, at least, until last week! Just when I wasn't trying at all to get it out of him! haha :D We were discussing an errand, to which he mentioned that he will do "... after we get back from Bohol"! There was this split second of silence and I started laughing my ass off. It took him a while to realize he had actually said it out loud! 

Aww poor baby. He was all annoyed after because he really wanted to keep it a surprise. Wahaha! Now I'm all excited because I've never been there! Yay! 

So we leave on Saturday. I can't wait! It's still sort of a surprise anyway, I still don't have a clue about the other details! Haha :)

Married! :)

It's been three weeks since our awesome wedding :) i still can't stop looking at photos. It was such a fun day that I can't stop going back to it. I was going to have this whole blog entry about random memories during the wedding but well, it's been three weeks and I should've written it two days after. Right now, it's all a happy blur, and man, what a blur it is. From before, during and after the wedding. Truly a lot of laughs. There's one picture of ours taken by Dino Lara, of us laughing at the altar. That pretty much describes the whole day. :) So we went on our Boracay honeymoon, then left for Singapore pseudo-honeymoon and now we're in the States. Busy, busy! :) We still have half of our gifts unopened at home, no thank you cards written, our stuff is still in shambles and all over the place and well, really, we haven't been home. Guess who just got MAJORLY, OH-SO-OFFICIALLY ENGAGED yesterday, Dec 31, 2006 in Bizu???   half crying and half laughing, while he was down on one knee (Rap did not just propose to me, by the way, he asked my whole family. tee-hee.) still crying. i didn't actually say yes, i nodded, because i was so surprised, speechless and touched by the whole thing. i mean, i knew it was planned that we would say something today, but i didn't know he was going to do what he did. :) my sisters were bouncing off their seats, my parents were teary-eyed (my mother cried, of course. haha!) but it was just a generally happy, happy, HAPPY thing. apparently, they all had a feeling na. haha! grabe, my cheeks still hurt from smiling too much. i can't explain how i'm feeling right now.
