Preserving my gown - Bridal Conservatory
After the wedding, my mom and I discussed about having my gown preserved. It took us about two months after to finally get round to doing it (but I highly recommend you do it much earlier, though). So I brought it to Melissa Jadwani of the Bridal Conservatory (as recommended by the House of Laurel), who was very informative and helpful - I never knew that so much went on in preserving a gown. It's packed in this special, erm, packaging with very precise instructions on how to keep it and to keep track of the humidity inside (it has this sort of thermometer thing on it - i'm not too sure what to call it). Melissa also added a personal touch, placing a copy of A Purpose Driven Life in the box too, for us. :) I thought that was very nice. So now the gown is all preserved, something to show our future children :) And maybe, hopefully, one of them will decide to use a part o...
